These are your life insurance benefits through Symetra. All claims go through the ILA Benefit Funds Office for the Ports of Philadelphia and Wilmington.

Eligibility

Basic Unit and Secondary Workforce members receive $50,000 life insurance on themselves and $1,000 on their dependents for the calendar year following the contract year in which you made 1,300 worked hours.

In the event of a death of either a member or dependent the ILA Benefits Office must be contacted to initiate a claim.

Accidental Death receives an additional $50,000.00

Accidental Death receives an additional $1,000.00
